Design, Simulation, and Implementation of a 6.78MHz Shielded Capacitive Power Transfer Coupler
This project focuses on the designing, simulation and implementation of an Shielded Capacitive Power Transfer (S-CPT) model operating at 6.78MHz. The project aims involve designing and simulating the structure of the S-CPT coupler and subsequently evaluating its performance using LTSpice simulations. Another objective is to develop a coupler structure using one of the chosen proposed design. Five coupler structure designs are proposed and simulated, with one being chosen for hardware development based on these simulations. The analysis shows the model's suitability in designing a 6.78MHz capacitive wireless power transfer coupler. Experimental on the developed hardware affirm the circuit's effectiveness and operational functionality.
