Monitoring System for Multiprocessor Method of Organization of Computing Processes

The article is a research on searching for an optimal solution for monitoring devices of architecture involving multiprocessor way of organizing computational processes. The sought monitoring system should reduce the risks of such problems typical for such architecture as difficulties of synchronization of parallel processes and memory access conflicts, including memory access heterogeneity. The article proposes a solution for designing a hybrid development of a monitoring system based on modules of a ready-made IT solution. The system realizes the logic of end-to-end monitoring of devices of engineering and computing architectures, the efficiency of resource management is provided by the specified parameters. The design methodology includes application of 4C standard, OSI model, justification of technology stack for IT product development model, application of integration testing methodology and evaluation of solution efficiency by numerical experiment on selected metrics. The proposed solution can be used in prototyping monitoring systems for symmetric architectures with an array of shared memory to which homogeneous processors have equal access.
