The complete coverage path planning is a process of finding a path which ensures that a mobile robot completely covers the entire environment while following the planned path. In this paper, we propose a complete coverage path planning algorithm that generates smooth complete coverage paths based on clothoids that allow a nonholonomic mobile robot to move in optimal time while following the path. This algorithm greatly reduces coverage time, the path length, and overlap area, and increases the coverage rate compared to the state-of-the-art complete coverage algorithms, which is verified by
The topology structure of multi-layer networks is highly correlated with the robustness of consensus. This paper investigates the influence of different interlayer edge connection patterns on the consensus of the two-layer ring networks. Two types of two-layer ring network models are first considered: one is a kind of two-layer ring network with two linked edges between layers (Networks-a), and the other is a kind of two-layer ring network with three linked edges between layers (Networks-b). Using the Laplacian spectrum, the consensus of the network model is derived. The simulation experime
Surge and swab pressures are additional pressure drop due to the pipe movement upward/downward during drilling activities including drill string reciprocation and tripping operations. It describes the changes in pressure in the annulus because of pipe movement, resulting in a variety of expensive drilling issues, such as well kick, formation breakdown, and lost circulation. The key objective of this study is to examine the factors that influencing the surge and swab pressures and determine the extent of their influence., In addition to optimizing the drilling parameters that determine the grea
Skin cancer is regarded as the world's deadliest disease. Patients with incorrect diagnoses and substandard treatment have a very low chance of survival. However, if the disease is discovered sooner, the patient has a greater chance of survival and can be cured. Consequently, diagnosing and treating a patient in the earliest phases is difficult and complex. A system capable of autonomously diagnosing and detecting skin cancer at an earlier stage is required to address these issues. This study employed several deep learning models, including VGG16, VGG19, Xception, ResNet50, InceptionResNetV2,
With the increasing use of gadgets and technology, information stored online requires security (user, information, equipment and so on) to avoid damage, theft or crime. Information security is guaranteed by two mechanisms which are authentication and authorization. Textual passwords are vulnerable to attacks and has a difficult recall experience for strong passwords. Therefore, the aim of this study is to introduce colour as a graphical means of authenticating users to address some of the issues with textual passwords. The scheme was developed using colour wheel design partitioned into sixteen
