Currently, the pressing issue of climate change presents a substantial ecological peril to life on Earth, causing deterioration in plant biodiversity and disruptions in physiological and morphological processes within plants. The assessment of secondary metabolites across various treatments unveils noteworthy revelations. In treatment 1 (plant 1), the analysis uncovers the presence of alkaloids (13.3%), coumarins (4.36%), tannins (4.34%), flavonoids (6.83%), and saponins (6.33%). In contrast, treatment 2 (plant 2) showcases elevated proportions of alkaloids (15.1%), coumarins (4.55%), tannins
Climate change is a pressing ecological issue that poses a significant threat to life on Earth. In light of this, a scientific study has been conducted in the Taounate region to investigate this phenomenon. The main objective of the study is to predict the impact of climate change on the content of secondary metabolites and chemical compounds of essential oils under three different treatments. The analysis of the qualitative and quantitative results for Salvia officinalis shows that the percentage of primary metabolites varies across the first, second, and fourth years of the study. The first
This paper introduces an innovative asset-tracking system driven by the Internet of Things (IoT), revolutionizing the landscape of asset management through the seamless integration of advanced hardware and software elements. Central to this system is the ESP32 microcontroller, serving as the orchestrator of a sophisticated ecosystem. Indoor asset tracking leverages Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology, utilizing RFID tags for accurate asset identification and localization within indoor environments. Conversely, outdoor tracking exploits the Global Positioning System (GPS) module, e
For the valorization of the medicinal flora of the region of Taounate, an ethnobotanical survey was carried out among the local population. The results obtained allowed us to identify a total of 80 species of MAP used by the rural population of which the most exploited are: Inula viscosa, Salvia officinalis, Mentha pulégium, Thymus vulgaris et Rosmarinus officinalis. The most used part is the leaves prepared by decoction as the most used mode and administered orally in most cases to treat different pathologies whose main ones are: digestive disorders first, blood pressure, headaches, and sale
This study presents a comprehensive review of the Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN), an emerging and unique technology widely employed in human health monitoring to address the increasing demand for healthcare services. WBAN enables continuous remote monitoring in real-time by utilizing biomedical sensor nodes strategically placed in or around a patient’s body to collect human physical parameters. The paper discusses the key characteristics of WBAN, focusing on their system architecture, types of sensor nodes, and network topology. Furthermore, it examines the communication standards adopted
