In this study, a simple method has been employed to enhance the mechanical properties of ASTM A706 grade 60W steel, which involves applying torsion at different deformation angles. The results demonstrate that torsion has minimal influence on the geometry of the test specimen, but it leads to increased yield strength and ultimate strength of the material as the deformation percentage increases, as measured through tension tests.
