The Internet of Things (IoT) is an emerging technology developing recently. The technology of IoT allows users to communicate with controllers and sensors which is widely used in the agricultural sector such as farming and weather forecast. Recently, it has been identified that herbal traditional home gardens are difficult to monitor where herbal plants are sensitive and need a proper monitor. This research has developed an IoT smart gardening for herbal plant systems that helps to analyze four types of herbal plants which are Aloe Barbadensis miller, Salvia Rosmarimus, Clinacanthus nutans, an
In agricultural industry, autonomous robots have been adopted to reduce labor-intensive tasks. In a context of traditional chili fruit harvesting, the process often requires a significant workforce and can be improved especially for grading due to human eyes being prone to errors. In addition, the characteristics of chili fruits is significantly different with other typed of fruits due to its sizes, variations, texture and its localization from the plant. To address this, an investigation was conducted using the You Only Look Once (YOLO) object detection algorithm to localize and classify chil
Musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) are increasingly prevalent and a leading cause of disability worldwide. Injured workers with MSDs often undergo treatment at rehabilitation centers before returning to work. Functional capacity evaluation (FCE) is commonly used at these centers to assess an individual's physical ability to perform specific job tasks and readiness to return-to-work. However, one limitation of FCE is that the therapist's judgments may be influenced by information other than visual impressions. To address this, this study proposes a method for automatically categorizing work level
The possibility of the formation of methanol and the prediction of the equilibrium product distribution via one-step partial oxidation of methane was evaluated in this paper. The HSC Chemistry software was used to do this thermodynamic analysis, which is based on Gibbs free energy minimization. The reactions are seen at temperatures ranging from 25 to 1750 degrees Celsius and methane/oxygen ratios (MOR) varying from 1:1 to 5:1 at 1 bar constant pressure. Because of the negative ΔGof values and significant values of ln K, the results show that the reactions are feasible, plausible, and strongl
Research on cellulose as a source for ethanol production through a one-step catalytic reaction using heterogeneous catalysts is a topic of considerable interest presently. The one-step catalytic process is needed to save energy and time in the process of producing ethanol from biomass sources. In this experiment, the thermodynamics and kinetics are studied to determine the parameters that affect the one-step catalytic process using heterogeneous catalysts. The results of research on screening catalysts between Active Carbon (AC), Sulfonated Active Carbon (SAC), and Nickel-Sulfonated Active Car
