Electrocardiogram (ECG) is a bio-signal that is most utilized in healthcare, allowing for pulse monitoring and health assessment. Expanding ECG applications beyond hospitals, this study explores innovative approaches using ESP8266 and Internet of Things (IoT) technology for emergency alert systems. This project focuses on the designing, simulation and implementation of an Shielded Capacitive Power Transfer (S-CPT) model operating at 6.78MHz. The project aims involve designing and simulating the structure of the S-CPT coupler and subsequently evaluating its performance using LTSpice simulations. Another objective is to develop a coupler structure using one of the chosen proposed design.
