ANALYSIS OF THE MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF ASTM A706 GRADE 60W STEEL USING A LOW-COST METHOD OF TORSIONAL DEFORMATION

In this study, a simple method has been employed to enhance the mechanical properties of ASTM A706 grade 60W steel, which involves applying torsion at different deformation angles. The results demonstrate that torsion has minimal influence on the geometry of the test specimen, but it leads to increased yield strength and ultimate strength of the material as the deformation percentage increases, as measured through tension tests. Additionally, hardness and microstructural analysis provide further evidence of the correlation between the tensile results. These findings highlight the effectiveness

Performance assessment of a natural gas station using weighted exponential Lindley distribution

This paper focuses on the study of various reliability measures of a natural gas station comprising of three filtration systems (F), two heating systems (H), three pressure reduction systems (P) and one deodorizing system as a series parallel system comprising four subsystems. Subsystem-1 consists of three filtration systems operating under 2-out-of-3: G policy, susbsystem-2 is comprised of two heating systems operating under 1-out-of-2: G policy, subsystem-3 is composed of three pressure reduction systems operating under 1-out-of-3: G policy and subsystem-4 having one deodorizing system worki

Probabilistic Method for Modeling the Conditional Extreme Quantiles and Censored

This paper presents a contribution to stochastic risk modeling in climate change. We show that it would be important to control the number of observations in a given region, while the oscillation of the log-quantile function is small. More specifically, we have also shown that the extreme quantile is more stable the further away we are from the border. We will now show that the random variable is observed if it belongs to the interval of the non-negative and absolutely continuous variable

Spatio-temporal ARMA Modeling in a Geostatistic Framework

This paper investigates models of stochastic spatio-temporal dependence with geostatistical tools. Specifically, we use a time and space dependence ARMA model to propose new models of stochastic spatial and temporal tools such as variograms, correlograms and the madograms. we use a geostatistical tools as a spatio-temporal kriging to modling some health data. Again, we establish a link between the STARMA model and ordinary kriging, then apply it to covid-19 data.

Deep learning-based microcirculation performance classification using multispectral photoacoustic technology

Investigation of microcirculation is the key to diagnose circulatory dysfunction. Tissue circulation monitoring is a crucial part of the care of patients with severe chronic illnesses because it affects oxygen delivery to tissue. Recent technology, such as hyperspectral imaging, has allowed visualization of microcirculation at the price of high computation resources. Meanwhile, pulse oximeter performance varies with factors like the subject’s skin colour. This study explores the feasibility of using an in-house assembled multispectral photoacoustic (PA) system to investigate microcirculation
